Well, look no further because I’ve rounded up my top 16 holiday gifts for every wine lover. I know the wine world is intimidating if you don’t know much about it, so I’ve created this simple guide for you to peruse and pick something your loved one (or you) might like.

I like to think this list is full-proof because as a full-time wine-lover, I use most of these products every single day...and the ones I don’t have yet are on my Christmas list this year. ;)

Holiday gift guide for wine enthusiasts

16 Holiday Gifts for the Wine Lover in Your Life

This list is divided by category in hopes to make your holiday shopping easier. If you know exactly what you’re looking for, head to that category to check out some of my favorite brands.

I’ve included links and my specific recommendations for each category, so browse through, and happy shopping! By the way, if you purchase any items through these links or use my discount codes, I might receive a small commission at no extra cost to you, so thank you for your support!

Wine Glasses

Everyone needs wine glasses, right? Here are my favorite brands for different occasions.

Libbey Signature Greenwich 12-Piece Wine Glass Party Set for Red and White Wines - $85

Libbey is my favorite affordable, everyday wine glass brand. The glasses are elegant and light, but they also seem to be fairly sturdy. Plus, you can run them through the dishwasher!

I got the set of 6 white glasses and 6 red glasses, which I use almost everyday.

Glasvin universal Wine glass - $65 for two

Use code LEXISWINELIST for 15% off.

Glasvin is a New York-based small business that makes hand-blown, high quality stemware at an approachable price.

This is the first ~nice~ wine glass I owned, and I was so stoked when I got it. It’s soooo light and the glass feels paper-thin. It genuinely feels special when you use it.

I suggest the Universal Glass because it’s designed to work with any style of wine. It’s perfect for everyday use, but it really elevates your wine-drinking experience.

Grassl glass

Grassl’s mission is to create functional wine glasses that are meant for specific styles of wine. You’ll find different designs for light or full-bodied wines, sparkling wines, and more.

They even tell you which specific wines work best with each glass, so if you have a wine lover in your life, a pair of glasses designed for their favorite wine would be the perfect personalized gift.

Pictured here is the Cru glass, which I have and I love.

wine ACCESSORIES

Every wine enthusiast needs accessories to complete their wine-loving lifestyle.

CHEESE BOARDs - starting at $29

Everyone loves a nice cheese board! As an avid cheese and charcuterie board maker myself, I can tell you that one can never have enough boards.

Different styles of boards allow you to get more creative with your board-making, and who doesn’t love a creative board to pair with wine night? Check out these from Crate & Barrel.

Bar Carts - starting at $120

Bar carts are not only functional for wine and spirits storage, but they’re also a great piece of decorative furniture. I love a classic gold with wheels and tend to change up my décor with the seasons.

Here are some I love, including the one I currently have.

Decanters - starting at $20

Decanters are used to aerate wines, to allow them to open up and “breathe” a bit before pouring in a glass. They’re especially helpful for older red wines to ensure you don’t get too much sediment in your glass.

I love a fancy one because it can become the centerpiece of any bar cart or table. It also makes you look classier when serving wine to guests.

Wine Racks - Starting at $49

I love wine racks because they allow you to store wine properly, with the bottles on their sides to allow the wine to be in contact with the cork. This keeps the cork from drying out, so you can keep your wines to age longer.

I love the smaller ones because you can throw them on a countertop, or I like to put mine on my bar cart - you’ll notice I stick to the gold theme so the two match.

Rewined Candles - $28

Another small business to support, Rewined Candles makes beautiful candles out of wine bottles, all with different wine-themed scents...and they smell sooo good!

Use code LEXI15 for 15% off!

virtual wine tasting

with yours truly - Starting at $45

I know the holidays are different this year, so if you’re looking for a fun and safe way to get your friends and family together, book a virtual wine tasting with me!

I’ll teach you the basics of wine tasting so you can find out what it is you love (or maybe don’t love so much) about certain wines and discover your preferences.

Each wine tasting is completely customizable, so we can taste through wines you have at home, or I’ll curate a personalized wine list with you, including food pairing suggestions and all!

If you’re looking to gift a virtual wine tasting for someone, just shoot me an email at lexiswinelist@gmail.com and we’ll get it set up.

Can’t wait to drink wine with you!

WINE

What better gift for a wine enthusiast than wine itself? Here are some places I suggest you shop - both online options and for my Los Angeles neighbors.

Here are some options for shopping online:

Patland Vineyards

Located in Napa Valley, Patland Vineyards crafts high quality, small-production wines.

I like to support them because they take initiatives to uplift their neighboring wineries, like donating portions of their sales to the disaster relief fund of Napa Valley to help build up the community after the yearly fires.

This family-owned winery makes really special wines that are perfect for gifting. Try their Chardonnay, Pinot Noir, or Patland Sparkling...you really can’t go wrong.

And for Los Angeles locals…

As a Los Angeles dweller, I’ve tested out these wine stores plenty of times, so check them out if you haven’t yet.

Hi-Lo Liquor

Located in both Culver City and Long Beach, Hi-Lo Liquor offers a cool and quirky selection of tasty wines from all over. They also sell gift sets and other little items that are perfect stocking stuffers.

Adams Wine Shop

Recently opened by Sommelier Ruben Morancy, Adams Wine Shop is a boutique shop which focuses on wine produced by women and BIPOC. It’s the kind of representation our wine industry so desperately needs, and you can support diversity in wine by shopping here.

Located in West Adams, this shop has a range of delicious wines for special occasions, as well as everyday bottles for under $30.

WINE BOOKS

For education purposes, as well as coffee-table-topping purposes.

Wine Folly - $32

The Wine Folly book is one of the first-ever wine books I owned, and I still refer to it often. If you’re not familiar with the company, Wine Folly feeds wine education in an approachable way for any level (with illustrations included).

This book is perfect for any level of wine enthusiast because it’s full of information on wines from all over the world,  and it’s also the perfect coffee table book.

The Wine Bible - $18

This best-selling wine book is crucial for any wine lover’s library. It’s so informative and also keeps wine education approachable.

It’s hard to imagine there’s more information about wine that exists outside of this book.

Rad Cocktails - $25.99

My friend Amanda from @sommthing.rad created a cocktail book and I’m obsessed. It has a ton of creative and delicious-looking cocktails that I can’t wait to try! She even has an entire section devoted to wine cocktails…my favorite.

If you’re looking to shop small and support a new business, this book is the perfect addition to any bar cart!

wine GADGETS

Here are some nice gadgets for that techy wine-lover in your life. These are some of my favorite wine tools of all time.

coravin wine preserver is the best holiday gift for those wine lovers in your life

Coravin - $199

I know you guys have heard me say this before, but I freaking love my Coravin. It allows you to literally get as much wine as you want out of a bottle, without opening it and allowing it to spoil.

It’s the perfect tool that allows you to have just one glass, or if you’re a big collector, this gadget lets you taste test your wines periodically to see if they’re ready to be enjoyed.

The Coravin is so easy to use, and it’s not so easy to break - this I know because I use it multiple times a day for work, and many times a week for personal use,e and it seems to be holding up just fine.

Coravin is offering a special deal on the Model 6 Limited Edition, check it out below:

Wine Fridges - starting at $199

I got my first wine fridge as a gift about a year ago and it’s my most prized wine possession.

Wine fridges are crucial for wine collectors because wine has to be stored at the perfect temperature (around 55° F) to age well. Even if you’re not a collector, it also brings wine to the ideal serving temperature (also around 55° F), which is pretty game-changing.

You can choose from a few different sizing options. Mine is an 18-bottle fridge and I filled it up pretty quickly, so maybe adjust accordingly for the wine collector you’re shopping for.

wine SUBSCRIPTIONS

It’s the gift that keeps on giving.

With so many wine subscriptions available, it’s hard to pick the right one. These are two of my favorites I’ve come across so far, and they’re both small businesses, so if you’re shopping small this year, these are perfect for you.

We Drink Bubbles - $100

Use code Lexi10 for 10% off your order.

We Drink Bubbles is the perfect gift for that friend of yours who loves sparkling wine. Every month, you get 3 bottles of boutique, hand-crafted sparkling wine sent straight to your door for just $100.

We Drink Bubbles curates packages of sparkling wine that have limited production, so they’re hard to come by anywhere else! I’ve tried a collection of their hand-picked wines, and they were all delightful.

You can also shop other gifts like single bottles of sparkling wine in a gift box, champagne sabers, glasses, and more.

Bravino - $160

Bravino Wine Club was started by husband and wife duo, Carly and Tommaso. They specialize in bringing Italy to your home by sharing a new region of the country and their specialty wines each month. They even send regional recipes to pair with the wines, so you can get the full Italian experience.

Since falling in love with wine in Florence during my study abroad, I’ve been a sucker for Italian wines (and food), so this is my ideal wine club!

I could keep going, but I have to cut myself off. I hope this wine gift guide helps make your 2020 holiday shopping at least a little bit easier! If you end up getting any of these presents for yourself or the wine lover in your life, leave me a comment below to let me know your thoughts.

If you enjoyed this post and you’re ready to get in the holiday spirit, check out my recent post about 10 white wines that are perfect for fall and winter.

Also, if you’re looking for the perfect holiday activity to get your friends and family together safely this year, book a wine tasting with me! I’ll teach you the basics of wine tasting to help you discover wines you love.
